See what 30 days can do

In a study of MPN Journal's own users, presented at the EHA 2026 congress, people who completed the 30-Day MPN Challenge reported a real, substantial drop in their symptom burden — and the longer they stuck with it, the more they gained.

Symptom burden dropped

Even patients who tracked for just one week already showed a meaningful, statistically significant reduction in symptom burden.

The longer you engage, the more you gain

Patients who completed all 30 days saw the biggest improvement of any group — in both symptom burden and lifestyle.

Real patients, real data

Based on real-world tracking by MPN Journal users, not a lab experiment — this is what actually happened for people living with an MPN.

Between November and December 2025, MPN Journal users were invited to join a 30-day guided self-management challenge: short daily exercises designed to help build sustainable, healthier habits. The MPN Journal team analysed the results and submitted the findings to EHA 2026, Europe's leading haematology congress.

The findings were encouraging. Participants who tracked their symptoms and lifestyle for at least a week already showed a real drop in symptom burden. And the pattern held throughout the challenge: the longer people kept going, the bigger the improvement — patients who completed all 30 days saw their symptom burden fall the most of any group, alongside a meaningful improvement in their lifestyle score. On average, a 5% improvement in lifestyle score was associated with a 30% decrease in symptom burden.

This doesn't mean the challenge is a cure — MPN symptoms are complex, and everyone's experience is different. But it does show that small, consistent daily habits, tracked and guided over time, can make a real difference in how people with an MPN actually feel.
